Spol. GR - NANO a.s. was founded in 2019 for the purpose of practical use of the results of long-term research and development of top scientists and experts in many scientific research fields in the Czech Republic. The project was launched in the 1990s and did not bear fruit in the form of revolutionary new inventions until 2010.

The non-profit organization EWIC (Energy - Water Innovation Cluster) within the GRNANO project, holds the position of a business partner in order to interconnect the wide portfolio, technological and project platforms, especially in connection with the "community environmental sanitation" project.
