On March 9, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Pardubice Regional Authority complex, in the Kašpar Hall, with representatives of facilities included in the first phase of the ESVČ rollout for 2026. The meeting, organized by EWIC (Energy and Water Innovation Cluster) as the organization responsible for coordinating the ESVČ, began at 10:00 a.m. and was attended primarily by directors, energy specialists, and economists from the participating entities.
The aim of the meeting was to familiarize participants in detail with the functioning of the ESVČ and with the practical steps involved in connecting facilities to the electricity sharing system. During the meeting, basic information about the ESVČ was presented, along with its benefits for the participating organizations and for the Pardubice Region, as well as the planned rollout phase of the sharing group for 2026.
A significant portion of the program was devoted to the power-sharing agreement and the registration process with the Electricity Data Center (EDC). Participants were briefed on the individual steps required to participate in power sharing, including the registration of generation facilities, the registration of the sharing group, and the assignment of consumption points according to the allocation key. The meeting also addressed the economic and tax framework of the ESVČ. The discussion focused primarily on the principle of setting the price of shared electricity, the structure of membership fees, the method of invoicing between producers and consumers, the administrative role of the energy community, and related tax obligations.
At the end of the meeting, time was set aside for discussion and questions from participants, which primarily concerned the practical aspects of connecting individual properties and the next steps in preparation for the launch in 2026.
The entire meeting, including the concluding discussion, lasted approximately three hours.
