The Modernization Fund has announced the ENERGOV 1/2025 call focused on reducing energy consumption and using renewable energy sources in heritage-protected or architecturally valuable public buildings. Application submission period: September 29, 2025–April 30, 2026 (12:00 p.m.), allocation: CZK 500 million.

Supported activities: thermal insulation, replacement of heat sources, heating systems, renewable energy sources + battery storage, energy management, lighting modernization, external shading, acoustic measures, and technologies for the use of gray/rainwater. Charging stations can be included as part of a comprehensive renovation.

Supported activities: unit subsidy (according to the Ministry of Finance methodology); related costs 3.5–7% of direct eligible expenditure; max. 50% of total eligible expenditure. Implementation within 5 years
of the decision.
